This session is a continuation of ‘Support and Education for Parents – Session 7’. This session focuses on play being the basic foundation of childhood and how it can help instill a sense of independence and confidence in the child.
The curriculum focuses on understanding and respecting the emotions of a child as they learn and grow. The session discusses how the child tries to explore themselves and learn about the world around them, while playing and carrying out different activities.
The video lesson guides the parents on how to foster independent play in the child and encourages them to explore themselves and the things around them. For example, letting the child play with a cardboard box or some sticks can allow them to build and explore the material around them.
