This practical life lesson is designed for 3 to 6-yeard-old children. Learning about how to use nuts and bolts teaches them the importance of safety and following rules. It also helps to develop persistence as the child learns to master the skill.

This nuts and bolts video helps the child to develop their fine motor skills and coordination of movements like hand-eye coordination, focus, and visual discrimination.

Materials Required:

1. Tray
2. Felt mat
3. Nuts
4. Bolts

Repeat this activity along with the child, as shown in the video. Encourage the child to try and work with the material they desire. When the child masters this activity, you can increase the challenge and add nuts and bolts of different sizes to match them.
