Checkerboard

This math lesson is a continuation of ‘Learning Multiplication on a Checkerboard Part 1’. It is designed for 6 to 12-year-old children to guide them about multiplying numbers with two-digit multipliers using a checkerboard.

Learning to multiply with a double-digit multiplier can be a little tricky for the child. This video lesson demonstrates a practical method of multiplying multiple digits with a double-digit multiplier using a checkerboard.

Invite the child to explore this practical method and help them get a better understanding of the math facts. Repeat this activity by asking the child to multiply numbers, as shown in the video.
